Dave Clamp

After an early lunch at 11.00 Dave has been out in the blazing sun ever since!  It seems the organizers website is updating again and you will be pleased to see that Dave is whizzing round at a about 4.20 minutes per lap and covered 1,535 km as at 13.45 hrs.  801 laps out of 939 now completed and that means he has about 265 km left to go.  When will he finish the cycling?  Well, he is currently moving along at about 17 mph so with a little brainwork you will deduce that he should take about 10 to 11 hours cycle time.  Simples!  Actually, not so simples because you also need to take into account stops for food and rest.  If we are lucky you might see him finish around midnight local time.  I’ll leave it up to you to calculate what time that is where you live!
