Dave Clamp

Evening Report Day 9

November 23, 2010

It is nearly 10 pm and Dave is taking an hour’s rest from the amazing effort he has made to stay in 2nd place throughout the day.  He has been eager to do as many laps as possible as economically as possible and has now completed 201 laps.  Now he is on the tenth and final marathon and has 21 laps to do.

Antal is still in third place  on lap 181 and Sergio Cordeiro is right behind him on lap 180.  Sergio has been doing incredible lap times since 6 o’clock this morning and has to be admired for his stamina and speed.

Dave is taking an hour’s rest which he will most definitely need to complete the last Marathon and claim an incredible 2nd place in this gruelling competition.  He should be finishing somewhere between 7 and 9 am tomorrow morning (about 3pm UK time) and we will post details as soon as we can.

Dave has read some of the latest messages and is really very touched by them.  Thanks for the encouraging remarks and advice!
