Dave Clamp

Evening report

November 19, 2010

It’s 7.30 pm and Dave is now taking a two hour sleep/feed break after having reached an incredible 108.995 kilometres!  At the time of stopping Dave is 11km ahead of Christian Mauduit who is still running.  No doubt Christian will take the lead whilst Dave sleeps but he has been in the lead before a few times (in the cycling section) and Dave pulled it back and moved ahead on each occasion.

More updates on what happens overnight will be posted

  • Thanks for the update John/Joanna.

Run your race Dave – don’t be pressured into running anybody elses!

You have experience and patience on your side and it is a long way to go.
Tomorrow or Monday is when you can make your move again when you have re-energised.
You WILL do this, we all believe that.

Keep plodding along Dave – everyone has to rest so pace yourself and you can re take the lead again when refreshed. Not even half way on the run yet. We are still tuning in regularly and rooting for you. Remember Waterloo !
